Introducing Christi Harris

My name is Christi Harris, and I am the new Pool Supervisor for the Carlisle Country Club.  I have just graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in elementary education and am currently in the midst of the job search for the fall.  I am getting married this summer and will be the owner of a house in Carlisle come June.  Though I will be a new face to the Carlisle Country Club, I am no stranger to aquatics and lifeguarding.  I have been a lifeguard for nearly seven years and was on various swim teams from a young age and throughout high school.  I have taught swim lessons, both group and private, for seven years as well and love to work with people of any age on mastering the skills necessary to become proficient swimmers, whether it be for competition or simply for the comfort of being competent in the water.  I am fully certified and have researched and used my lifeguarding experience to create new policies for the lifeguards to ensure the safety and peace of mind of the members.  A new lifeguard rotation plan has been created to ensure optimal alertness of the guards and an emergency action plan will be put into effect in the event that a situation would arise.  I would be happy to explain these new plans to anyone who is interested and will entertain any requests for private lessons from me, or any other interested guards.

I look forward to meeting all of you and anticipate a great summer!
